Volcano Nglanggeran is an ancient volcano that used to be active million years a go.Today Nglanggeran is dominated by giant rock with high approx. around 200 - 700 m. Has two popular peak namely eastern and western peaks with caldera in the center.
Our hike on this ancient unique volcano commence at the base of starting hike through path, under shadow of huge towering rock structure as well as crack heading upper terrain then enter to forest and cross some volcanic boulders heading to the top. Upon arrival, enjoy warm tea and local snacks, experience unique landscape feature plus wait for sunset. After sunset, then walk down to the base for transferring return to Yogyakarta.
