VOLCANO TREKKING - CLIMBING JOURNEY
It began when I was student and joined a lover nature organization in Jogja, here : did trekking - hiked up volcanoes in Java, and did rock climbing with some friends of mine. Such outdoor activities then proceed further out side of Java: hiked up Rinjani volcano, then Kerinci volcano.
TREKKING COURSE:
It couldn't be stopped,so decided to attended related course,one of them Western Trekking Technique Course for trekking guide program.The course took weeks intensively and covered programme: 1st week: Trekking Philosophy - Role Of Trekking Guide - Sport, 2nd week: Rescue Technique, 3rd week: Knowledge of Mountain - volcanology and 4th week: Meteorology - Orientation Technique - Use of Trekking Equipment.Practicing: at Merapi volcano, Sumbing volcano, and Manoreh Mountain range. Passed the exam and certified on year 1998.
TREKKING GUIDE:
Then escorted some guided trekking trips such : Manoreh hiking, Merapi hiking, Semeru trekking, Bromo hiking, Ijen hiking.Also did some survey of trekking spots at Bali,it covers : Tamblingan area, Batur area, and Ubud area. Then guided some trekking trip in Jogja and Central Java, worked for some relevant adventure travel also facilitated trekking training program for staff of holiday mountain resort in Central Java.
