FROM JOGJA: Rainy Day For Merbabu Trekking
-------------------------------------------------------

From Jogja 140 m asl, we'r drooped off at Jombor where we' then proceed  the journey to Magelang. Stopped here for lunch at food stall, then transit to Wekas - Kaponan. On the way from Magelang, there was rain and therefore we stopped at Wekas for while.Wait for the rainfall stopped, and bought some logistical necessary at local stall, also have some snacks to eat.

When the rain stoped, we trek up through village and forest. As usual, we met some local on the way.The usual conduct by trekkers when meet locals on the way is saying "Permisi".At Merbabu most local we met invited us to stop by, at Java it indicated by word "mongo pinara" mean stopping by please. This local conduct mostly found at Merbabu area making this area most welcome volcano. The conduct also reflected the politeness of real Javanese that mostly people just talked about. Here we met it and and felt the real.

The hiking trail get more inclined until pine forest boundary. Have break at pine forest boundary, enjoy fresh air that we never inhale in city where polluted air always be dominant. Some other trekking groups passed and said similar words to Hi.We took break for 10 minutes, then proceed the walk to trekking Basecamp at sub-village Kedakan. On the way, we met the basecamp owner taking grass for his animal feeding at home, so we go together to his home that normally functioned trekking base by trekkers visiting Merbabu.(2016)
