Our trek at Merapi commenced at from northern flank, lead you enter mountain forest and sub alpin ecosystem,then cross Pasar Pasar and sandy path - loose volcanic rock heads for crater rim.Pasar Bubra is an old crater below summit of Merapi on northern flank.
