TREKKING EQUIPMENTS

Equipment

Although the whole trekking items are mainly depends on climatic conditions, but some elements are essential to facilitate your movements and ensure your comfort. For complete equipment and engage in peace on a trekking days, some accessories are also useful to bring with you,some of them are mandatory on certain condition,such headlamp on early dark morning trekking.

1.HEADLAMP:
-----------------

The headlamp is mandatory for all trekking taking place at night and or early dark morning.Above all it must be powerful enough to illuminate the trekking route/path at least 10 meters.Ensuring better vision effect allows you to be more confident to tackle trekking route/path.  Spare batteries are essential for the long night trekking.

2.TREKKING SHOES & SOCKS:

Trekking shoes contribute to your walking safety,health and comfort.Therefore, they are a key element of trekking equipment for your trekking pleasure and performance.


2.1.In general, a trekking shoe requires a size above shoe city to not be too tight or damaged toes, especially on descending down the track downhill.

2.2.Before going on a trekking, it is advisable to test the new shoes during training season/preparation to become familiar prior to using them on real track on your real trekking days.

2.3.The variety of ground covered requires a better fit, a better grip and better protection of the foot.Therefore...trekking shoes are normally little bit heavier than road shoes.Normally 300 - 500 grams per pair. 

2.4.Today trekking shoes are very vary in model...some of them are equipped with stone guard in front to protect the foot of rocky terrain.The sole of trekking shoes are normally deeply notched to ensure a good grip even on difficult terrain and slippery.The envelope and lacing must keep the foot to prevent it from moving in the boot, even on sloping terrain.To ensure quality of your trekking shoes,it is advisable to choose high-end shoes.You need to change them at least every 1000 km. 

2.5.Socks for trekking activities are generally well adapted to the activity for the comfort of your feet.They are normally have no seams in contact with the foot and are designed not to slip inside the trekking shoe.One or more pairs of replacement are strongly suggested to bring in case you'll be on long day of trekking activity.

3.T-SHIRT & WIND JACKET:

A model of T-Shirt with long sleeves can be a good solution,even in hot weather,because it protects against sunburn.When it is hot,a model with a zip front opening makes it easy to regulate body temperature. On sunny days,a T-shirt with light color is better suited than a dark one since it concentrates the heat.In contact with the skin, the first layer of T-shirt must be breathable and dry quickly for comfort. 

The windbreaker jacket is a safety feature on a trekking day, even in good weather, as it can keep warm in case of injury or tiredness.It is suggested to choose a heavier model, but effective against cold, even rain.

4.GLOVE & HAT OR HEADBAND;

Generally, silk gloves enough.At night camp and early morning cold conditions or tackling windy track, thicker gloves will be more appreciated to bring.A simple headband or cap fleece are essential too,as we normally have camp at night cold weather.Another factor effects it's essentiality...the heat loss through the head are indeed important to pay attention as you loss calorie if you do not protect your head.The band helps regulate temperature changes, by placing it on the head, around the neck or wrist.  In case of heat weather on track descent, it allows you to wipe the sweat and protect against sunburn.

5.CAP & GLASSES:

The cap protects your head on a sunny day,also protects the face from rain in case of bad weather.Glasses is essential on sunny day, they protect eyes égalementles midges and other branches of trees.

6.SLEEPING BAG:
----------------------
Typically, there are two shape modes of-sleeping bag, they are : Blanket-shaped mode and Mummy-shaped mode.Sleeping bag is synthetic-filled sleeping bag with the outer skin made from nylon as well as the inner lining. Synthetic still can keep you warm if it get wet and can dry quickly.While nylon is high resistant to abrasion and tearing, also does not absorb humidity and dries very quickly.


Blanket-shape mode is thinner and suitable for using at Basecamp and camping site.Based on experience of wearing on mountain, Blanket - shaped mode still can keep you warm on camp site of elevation 2500 m - 2800 m.


While Mummy one is thicker, and the design is adjusted to body shape, so that the foot section is more narrow and completed with double synthetic material for more and more warm.

8.GAITERS & WALKING POLE:
---------------------------------------

Gaiters prevent small rocks, mud,etc to enter inside of your footwear that cause discomfort walking.While Sticks or walking poles allow your arm to relay some legs to fight against gravity on steep sections of the ascent,while on the descent, they relieve the knees and provide balance in the delicate passages.Today walking pole models are mostly adjustable,make them possible to adjust the length of the poles for maximum use.When they are unnecessary, you can fold them and wear on the bag.
